Most LBI rental houses that advertise “crib available” mean a decade-old pack 'n play. Fine for one night. Over seven, the gap between a 39″ travel crib and a 52″ full-size crib is the gap between a vacation and a relay of night shifts.

We rent a single crib model and two mattresses. That sounds like a limitation until you realize it is why every unit is interchangeable, set up the same way and cleaned to the same checklist.

Pick a window that suits your check-in, and another for the day you leave. Saturday mornings go first, so grab one early.

Carry it in and set it up in whichever room you want, or leave it on the porch if you'd rather do it yourselves. Whichever is easier on the day.
